Stovetop | No Oven Required

4–6 Rounds | 24g Protein | 6g Carbs

Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 8–10 Minutes

Light, fluffy, and a fun way to change up your routine.

After making so many beef-based recipes, I wanted something a little different that still fit the way I've been eating. These Stovetop Cloud Bread Rounds were exactly what I was looking for. They're made with just a few simple ingredients, cook entirely on the stovetop, and are incredibly versatile. Enjoy them with butter, use them as a sandwich bun, or serve them alongside breakfast. They're proof that simple ingredients can still make something special. ☁️💚

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, separated

  • 3 tbsp cream cheese, softened

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Separate the Eggs

Place:

  • 3 egg whites in one bowl

  • 3 egg yolks in another bowl

Step 2: Mix Yolks and Cream Cheese

Add the cream cheese to the egg yolks.

Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Whip the Egg Whites

Using a hand mixer:

Whip egg whites and a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.

The whites should hold their shape when you lift the beaters.

Step 4: Fold Together

Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites.

Work slowly to keep as much air in the mixture as possible.

Step 5: Cook on the Stovetop

Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat.

Lightly butter or spray the skillet.

Spoon the mixture into 4–6 rounds.

Cover with a lid.

Cook:

  • 4–5 minutes on first side

  • 2–3 minutes after flipping

until lightly golden and cooked through.

Step 6: Serve

Enjoy warm with:

  • Butter

  • Cream cheese

  • Scrambled eggs

  • Ground beef

  • Cheeseburger fillings

I made a double batch of these and used silicon egg mold rings to ensure the rounds maintain their shape. It worked beautifully! I plan on using these as the buns for the breakfast sandwiches I meal prep for the week. Thanks for sharing!
